Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Document and report findings, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Assist in training team members on quality assurance best practices.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.

• Knowledge of USDA/FSIS rules and regulations including HACCP, SSOPs

• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
