The Hourly Workforce Regional Recruiter will drive recruitment, sourcing and hiring practices across three divisions, working with plant level leaders. This position is a work-from-home role with frequent travel to divisional plant locations. You’ll have the opportunity to build and foster networks with local communities and organizations to drive recruitment and advertising for high volume, entry-level staffing needs for Food Safety General Labor hourly employees.

This role requires a problem solver and great communicator. We’re looking for individuals energized by fast paced companies with high volume recruitment needs. This individual will be building talent pools to meet current and future business objectives, while maintaining an ongoing strategy to identify, evaluate, and hire. This role will develop and drive key hiring practices across PSSI.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES
Source and recruit general labor hourly employees, working with multiple divisions and customer plants within the organization
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies through multiple channels, including key partnerships with local community sources, colleges, military bases, professional networks, and attendance at key recruiting events in the local communities
Partner with plant hiring managers and division Operations teams to understand needs and develop recruitment and hiring plans with clear expectations
Prescreen and interview candidates utilizing all methods as determined by location and availability
Seamless communication with larger recruitment team on regional and divisional recruitment planning and execution
Monitor retention efforts through consistent communication with HRDMs and Operations to identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes
Conduct Exit interviews to assess the candidate experience and make recommendations to HR leadership
Meet performance KPIs and maintain reporting best practices
Ensure hiring practices comply with Federal and State laws
Ensure PSSI’s operations comply with all external customer and government agency requirements including but not limited to EEOC, OSHA, FDA, and USDA
Maintain knowledge of current talent market and industry trends
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the local, college and military recruitment space
If not already certified, this role will require AIRS certification to be completed within 6 months of hire (company paid)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Full-cycle recruitment experience required
Experience working with high volume recruitment in similar industry
Proven ability to build and maintain a diverse pool of applicants for future growth opportunities
Minimum of one-year direct talent acquisition/recruitment experience
The position requires attributes such as: networking and relationship building, exceptional communication, and time management strengths
Technical skills including Boolean knowledge and application experience, overall online sourcing experience, ability to work with computers and technology, particularly Microsoft Office programs are essential
